Santa Barbara New House
Santa Barbara, CA
About the house
Santa Barbara New House is a nonprofit that runs sober living for men 18 and older in Santa Barbara: New House II, New House III and a Grad House for residents with six or more months of sobriety, with room for about 100 men in total. It does not provide treatment; 12-step participation and a sponsor are required, and staff are former residents.
Their website lists a fee of $37 per day that includes three meals. Scholarships are available, and the organization says being unable to pay in advance is rarely a barrier to admission. Applicants are interviewed on site and must test clean. House lines listed: New House II (805) 962-8248, New House III and Grad House (805) 563-6050.
